Customs officers at Auckland International Airport have intercepted two significant drug smuggling attempts:
A 23-year-old woman was caught smuggling 15.1kg of methamphetamine from Canada in vacuum-sealed packages, while a 29-year-old foreign national was sentenced to nearly six years in prison for attempting to bring 25.7kg of MDMA into New Zealand.
These cases highlight the critical role of border security in keeping dangerous substances off our streets. At Method Logistics, we stand for safe and compliant freight movement. We work closely with customs and border security to ensure ethical, legal shipping practices.
